Anime adaptation of Japanese Manga series Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure STONE OCEAN is all set to release on Netflix. The anime first made its way to Netflix on 1st December 2021. The first batch of the anime covered 12 episodes in total. With hints of the second batch already given in the first season, the second batch is all set to release on Netflix. Netflix Anime’s official twitter account has issued some pictures from the second batch before the new batch of episodes is dropped on the platform.

The anime sequel will make its way to Netflix on 1st September 2022. Here’s what we know so far:

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean batch 2

A brand new trailer for the second season of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure was released at the Anime Expo 2022 held in July. Previously, Warner Bros Japan revealed that the anime series based on Hirohiko Araki’s Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean manga will get a second part.

Along with confirmation of the release date, the trailer also revealed details of the upcoming episodes. Here’s the official trailer.

As per the trailer, batch 2 of STONE OCEAN will follow the story of the main character , Jolyne Cujoh. Last time we saw Jolyne, Pucci, the main antagonist of the story, almost killed her. After the happenings in the last episode of the first batch, we see Cujoh in the punishment ward of the Green Dolphin Street Prison .

And now Jolyne needs to find the disc containing the memories of the star of Stardust Crusaders, Jotaro Kujo, her father. If she fails to do so her enemy Father Pucci and his allies will have it first. Apart from Jolyne, the trailer also gave us a glimpse of the Dragon Dream’s fight. In addition to that, other main characters like Ermes and Anasui appear in the trailer facing off Pucci’s allies. It seems like the upcoming batch will be even more extreme and insane.

Apart from STONE OCEAN, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure has four more seasons on Netflix. Be sure to check them out.

Although the trailer gave us some hints of the new season, things are still pretty vague. It is not yet clear how much will the second batch reveal, but since the previous seasons had 30 episodes minimum, guess fans can look forward to more trips to the aquarium.
