Life On Our Planet has been a project to look out for. The Morgan Freeman narrated story has been the talk of the town since its announcement. Not long ago, a major update about the series surfaced online.

Life On Our Planet releases an exciting update for fans

Over the course of 3.8 billion years on planet earth, the millions of creatures aboard this bright blue rock floating through space have endured a constant battle for survival. Netflix’s upcoming series, Life On Our Planet, covers the feeling in every sense. The nature documentary will take the audience through the never-ending fight for dominance and survival on our planet. In addition to that, the series covers the early days of the earth and how it reached where it is today. Recently, Netflix released a thrilling teaser for the same along with a release date.

 Life On Our Planet features every species to have ever walked on it using the latest technology to bring them back to life. Meanwhile, Shawshank Redemption star Morgan Freeman will voice all the species on the show. The recently surfaced trailer also revealed the release date of the upcoming series, which is 25 October. Alongside Freeman, Steven Spielberg will serve as the executive producer of the series.

Other executive producers working on the series include Alastair Fothergill, Keith Scholey, Darryl Frank, and Justin Falvey. Moreover, Industrial Light and Magic will also be working to resurrect the series’ many prehistoric creatures. This will also be one of the rare times where Netflix dwells into a series format to explore environmental themes.

How many episodes will the first season feature?

The upcoming series, Life On Our Planet, is perhaps the first time the fans witness the rise and fall of the various dynasties of species. To cover such a vast journey, the first season of the nature documentary series will span over eight chapters. Every chapter of Life On Our Planet will have different aspects as the species battle for survival. 

Interestingly, this is not the first time Netflix has explored nature and wildlife. For fans who are eager to watch such shows, the streamer has a huge variety that cover multiple aspects of earth, including the ocean. As of late, the series will grace our screens on 27th October.
