Netflix Pushes to Capitalize Harry and Meghan’s Documentary Along With ‘The Crown’ and Harry’s Book Release

Be it for making a badass exit from the royal family or giving tea on Oprah Winfrey’s show, Meghan and Harry never fail to be in the spotlight. For those of you who missed it, the beautiful couple signed a 20-million-dollar deal with Netflix to make a docuseries back in 2021. And after all they had to say about the royal family and Harry’s take on the death of Lady Diana Spencer, the streamer was excited about the series.

Ever since the deal, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had a Netflix crew around them on multiple occasions. There were reports that Meghan will be producing an animated series for children with the streaming giant. However, the streamer canceled series and preparations began for Meghan and Harry to release a docuseries. And now the streamer wants to bring together the Royal couple’s docuseries, Harry’s book, and Netflix Original The Crown.

If you have been keeping up with the Sussexes, then you might know that Prince Harry is writing a memoir. Those interested in all the tea surrounding the Royal British family are awaiting the release of Harry’s memoir.

There is some level of satisfaction in saying “you heard it here first”. Netflix is doing just that by scheduling the release of the Harry and Meghan documentary before Harry comes out with his memoir. However, that is not the only thing that Netflix is trying to match times with.

Will the Meghan and Harry Netflix documentary release with The Crown?

The fifth season of the globally acclaimed series The Crown will finally be out on Netflix in November of this year. The streaming platform is also planning to release Harry and Meghan’s documentary series at the same time to tie things better. Although nothing is confirmed yet, the series is highly likely to release just days after the fifth season of The Crown.
