Contradicting the viewership ratings that Netflix and Stranger Things enjoyed, Season 4 did not end on a high note for fans with Max in the hospital and Eddie Munson somewhere in the upside down taking his last breaths. The latter still being a subject of debate with fans hoping for a comeback, but as per the spoilers, they will get anything but. Among the major spoilers lie the mass experiments being conducted on kids for new variants of 011.

With the military hunting down kids, we can expect the major task at hand for the team would be to protect them. The spoilers posted on 4chan also speak of Holly Wheeler being sent to 'Wonderland' by Vecna. However, the main plot will probably revolve around the team trying to find Vecna while also going neck to neck with Linda Hamilton. These spoilers, even if taken with a grain of salt, guarantee a phenomenal Season 5 of Stranger Things.
