Two years after the last season, Netflix has green-lit its romantic drama to follow an approach similar to that of The Crown. A fresh update on X, formerly Twitter, has slated season three of Julia Quinn’s book adaptation to release in two parts. While the exact number of episodes per drop has not found any mention, Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1 is set to arrive on May 16th with Part 2 on June 13th, 2024.

In the forthcoming season, a slew of developments are to take shape. The pivotal plot will revolve around the romance between Nicola Coughlan’s Penelope Featherington and Luke Newton’s Colin Bridgerton. Meanwhile, the former’s falling out with her best friend Eloise, as well as her lost confidence, would see an arc develop. Finally, Penelope’s search for a husband who can instill in her a sense of freedom should steer the show to an even more heartfelt touch.
