Netflix 100% Rotten Tomatoes Rated 'Blood of Zeus' Gets a Fitting Conclusion With a Third Season Renewal
The Greek mythology-inspired anime series Blood of Zeus stands out among other shows on Netflix for several reasons. One notable aspect is its top-notch action sequences, which have captivated audiences worldwide. Another reason is Netflix's unconventional decision to revive quality shows like Blood of Zeus, instead of canceling them. With its impressive season 1 ratings, which earned it a spot among the only nine elite shows on Netflix with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score, a revival seems just fair.
The announcement has rendered justice to Netflix fans who crave more of the dark, Castlevania-like gore-filled, and action-packed storytelling.

As reported by Deadline citing the Comic-con 2024 confirmation, the Blood of Zeus is set to return for its third and final season on Netflix. Creators Vlas and Charley Parlapanides added that the last season is expected to debut in 2025, but details are being kept under wraps for now. The creators expressed excitement to continue the story of Heron, Seraphim, and the gods as they face new challenges.
Revealing their plans for the finale, Charley Parlapanides said “In Season Three, we are so excited to continue the story of Heron, Seraphim, and the gods as they face their most dangerous adversaries yet”. In the final season, Heron and the gods will encounter Typhon, Cronus, and the Titans, as their most formidable foes as said by the creators hinting at an epic showdown. Fans can thus expect an intense conclusion to the series.
While the Comic-con 2024 of Saturday announcements has had everyone in a chokehold, the termination of the series sooner than expected, was a shocker.
