The clip featured Japanese manga artist Oda-Sensei confirming the news via a Transponder Snail. The creator said he has worked for a long time to make this dream come true with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios. He also thanked people for making the show a success, as it paid off the hard work of their team.
So, looking at the numbers, this iteration has racked up in 15 days, and they decided to let the adventures go on. However, Oda also mentioned how the second installment will take some time to arrive as the team has to work on scripts. Besides this, the 48-year-old also indicated towards the new casting of the series saying the Straw Hat Crew might need a doctor in the new season.
Then he drew a cute picture with his marker of Chopper donning the iconic pirate hat and food in one hand. Meanwhile, with the streamer showing a green light to the project, fans now need to know what season 2 would bring for them in order to prepare themselves in advance.
