Netflix Finally Unveils the Release Date of One of the Most Iconic Batman Series

Batman is a name almost everyone has heard of owing to his impact on pop culture. The Caped Crusader first entered Detective Comics #27 on March 30, 1939. Since then, Batman has remained a timeless classic. Owing to the massive pop culture icon he is, multiple films, shows, and animated series featuring the character landed on our screens. However, Batman: The Animated Series has carved a separate niche.

It has been quite some time since fans witnessed Batman: The Animated Series on screen. Unsurprisingly, Netflix decided to fill the void as it announced it would bring the iconic series back to its platform. And recently, the streamer unveiled the much-awaited release date for the same.

Netflix has been a leading provider of DC content for a while now. The streaming platform offers a massive catalog for its subscribers to watch some of the top DC films and shows. Batman: The Animated Series seems to be the latest addition to the streamer’s ever-growing library. As per the latest tweet by Netflix UK, the iconic Batman project will be available to stream on the platform on November 21

The streamer added a catchy caption alongside a glimpse from the series, as it wrote, “Holy date announcement, Batman!” The announcement has pumped fans worldwide as they flooded the timeline with multiple reactions. However, it is unsurprising, as the animated series is still people’s definitive take on Batman. There are many reasons why Batman: The Animated Series is so relevant and popular among fans. Firstly, the series has an innovative storytelling style unlike any other Batman project.

Batman: The Animated Series first premiered in 1992 and enjoyed three incredible years on the Fox Network. The series featured a star-studded ensemble, lending their voices to iconic characters. Kevin Conroy’s epic vocal performance as Batman is still considered to be one of the greatest of its time. In addition to Conroy, Bob Hastings lent his voice to James Gordon while Loren Lester voiced Robin.

Mark Hamill, who has been very lucky with Netflix, will also return as the Joker as the series makes its way to the streamer. As we all await the release of the animated series, Netflix has a plethora of Batman content on its platform for users to watch. Meanwhile, another animated series, The Caped Crusader, will also be premiering very soon.
