The streaming platform is all set to return with a new version of the most adventurous game ever played. A while ago, the official Twitter account of the streaming platform announced the premiere date with a thrilling teaser of its upcoming real-life competition. The 50-second clip featured an exciting sneak peek of all the challenges that lie ahead for all the participants in the game. Sharing the teaser, Netflix tweeted, “456 real people. 4.56 million dollars” before concluding, “Squid Game: The Challenge begins November 22.“
The exciting teaser gives a glimpse of just the tip of the iceberg. Apparently, this real-life competition will allow the fans to compete and play multiple games that were in the series, including Red, Green, Light, and the Glass Bridge. The winner of the competition will bag a whopping $4.56 million. This would be the largest cash prize pool for a reality TV contest. To make matters more realistic, all the players would be under the supervision of guards similar to that in the show.
While the players would simply lose the game in contrast to losing their lives, the upcoming challenge will surely be filled with unexpected and gruesome challenges. Long before the reality competition was announced, the Korean blockbuster also reached the audience in another format.
