However, Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx's Back In Action despite giving the action that it had promised in the title, did not really do good on the small screen- raising questions about its sequel.

Director Seth Gordon has also teased the possibility of a follow-up. In a chat with RadioTimes, he hinted at plans, saying, "Oh yeah, I’ve got some ideas about what it would be about.”  

Netflix has yet to announce a sequel for Back in Action, but that does not mean the possibility is ruled out. With an open-ended finale, there is plenty of room for the characters to embark on another thrilling adventure. However, the chances of a follow-up likely depend on the movie’s overall performance on the platform. Still, beyond the cliffhanger, the film’s action-packed storyline and character dynamics make a strong case for why Back in Action deserves another chapter.
