While providing a safe space for more than 3,600 movies and 1,800 series' to flourish, the OTT Mogul that Netflix has come to find itself in a constant jiffy over what titles to let go of and what to bring on board in order to make its subscribers as happy as a clam. Taking into account the multi-million hours of viewership, Netflix has cracked the code with its originals. Therefore, in order to get its fans the best of both worlds, it has cherry-picked from The Umbrella Academy, Stranger Things, and Emily in Paris.

Released at a time when book adaptations with the dystopian world were all the craze, The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones was among the few gems that managed to satisfy those who had read the book while becoming a cult favorite in itself.
