The former Bosten Celtics Great Bill Russell recently celebrated his 88th birthday. And what better way to celebrate the Titan on and off courts&#8217; special day by announcing a Netflix documentary about him?
For those unaware of the everlasting legacy that Bill has created, Bill Russel is most commonly associated with Boston Celtics. However, what differentiated him from other star athletes is his extensive work as a civil rights activist.

The documentary will show unseen interviews from Bill&#8217;s life and will probably cover the athlete&#8217;s sportsmanship days as well. It will also include President Barack Obama awarding him with the Presidential Medal of Honor. Needless to say, fans will get a great insight into Russell&#8217;s life.
Sam Pollard is directing the film with Larry Gordon, Ross Greenburg, and Mike Richardson acting as Producers.
