Chris Rock has found himself inadvertently caught up in a series of controversies lately, which began with the Oscar fiasco. Months after the event, Jada Pinkett Smith’s constant mention of the comedian in her interviews kept dragging him back into the limelight for the wrong reasons. As someone who values his privacy, Rock conveyed his displeasure about these events through close sources. However, the comedian now finally has a chance to showcase himself in a light devoid of controversy, as his new project is about to take shape.

The upcoming Netflix project of Chris Rock will be a follow-up documentary of his iconic co-headlining five-show run that took place in July last year.

Chris Rock decided to take on a tour with another legendary comedian, Kevin Hart, called Rock Hart: Only Headliners Allowed tour. Both comedians have been friends and mentors to each other for 20 years. They shared the stage for the first time on this tour. Taking this partnership to another level, Rock and Hart will be starring in Netflix’s upcoming documentary titled Kevin Hart & Chris Rock: Headliners Only which will hit the small screens on December 12.

The documentary would chronicle the two comedic heavyweights’ decision to tour together. It will also give first-hand accounts of their early lives, hardships, successes, and their unbreakable brotherhood. Netflix has already released the trailer of the upcoming documentary in which many other comedians, including Wanda Sykes, Jerry Seinfeld, and Tiffany Haddish offered their thoughts on Rock and Hart’s career. However, Chris Rock is not the only one breaking free from the cloud of controversies.
