Despite being best known as the literal embodiment of Superman, Henry Cavill shines in all his roles. From Man from U.N.C.L.E’s Napoleon Solo to The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia, every performance of his is incredible and memorable. He even brought a certain freshness to an iconic fictional character that has had multiple renditions. We are obviously talking about Sherlock Holmes. Cavill portrayed the celebrated detective in Netflix’s Enola Holmes alongside Millie Bobby Brown, who played the titular character.
While the Stranger Things alum was the leading lady of the film, Henry still wowed the audience with his acting prowess. Having said that, Cavill has always expressed his delight in collaborating with Millie. In fact, about a year back, he had nothing but compliments for his on-screen sister.
Henry Cavill applauded his Enola Holmes costar, Millie Bobby Brown
Back in 2020, shortly after the release of Enola Holmes, Henry Cavill did an interview with Extra TV’s Terri Seymore. Among other things about the mystery flick, they discussed the treasure trove of talent that is Millie Bobby Brown. For those who have seen the film can vouch for its physically challenging sequences. From hand-to-hand combat to jumping from a moving train, there were many stunts that Millie had performed. The host was curious to know if Cavill lent a helping hand to his young co-star regarding the same.
“I mean, she’s working with Superman, isn’t she?” exclaimed Seymore.
“Millie doesn’t need any tips from me. She’s got it all going on herself and she is extraordinary at it,” stated The Witcher actor without the slightest hesitation.
Henry has several roles in his portfolio that have required him to go through strenuous physical training. In fact, he has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2016. Also, as the Son of Krypton, he is definitely one of the strongest superheroes of all time. Having said that, Henry’s reply to Seymore’s question was nothing short of perfection.
Cavill even expressed his desire to do an action sequence with the Godzilla vs Kong star. Just like the Henry and the host, we as fans are also looking forward to that. Perhaps there is even one in the upcoming sequel. Enola Holmes 2 is all set to premiere on November 4.
