The final installment of Netflix’s tentpole series, Stranger Things, has officially crossed the halfway point of production. However, Hawkin-hungry fans will need to wait a bit longer before diving into the ultimate season that will upend the Stranger Things universe. Ross Duffer, a consistent source of updates for the show's fans, posted a picture of the cast and crew in early July, declaring, "Week 24. Happy halfway to the best cast and crew ever."

The next slide featured Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, placing a marble in a jar to mark the week’s completion. Although Maya Hawke, who plays Robin Buckley, mentioned in her Podcrushed interview that the show might be a little “cursed”, reflecting on the persistent delays, the recent milestone and the much-anticipated update on Millie Bobby Brown suggest that the curse has been lifted off, as the road to Stranger Things' fifth season does not seem so distant anymore.
