From being the most talked-about teenager on the internet to giving some jaw-dropping performances, she has done everything. Now the young actress is getting ready to compete with authors of the world. On March 24, the Stranger Things star revealed that she has written a historical novel inspired by the real-life experience of her grandmother who survived the Bethnal Green tube disaster in 1943. Titled Nineteen Steps this novel also hints at the actress who has become an international sensation only at the age of 19. Meanwhile, it appears that Brown has already set her novel on the path of success by choosing an accomplished publisher with a celebrity rich history.

Millie Bobby Brown has handed over the publication rights of her novel to one of the oldest and most famous publication houses in the world. And it’s none other than Harper Collins that recently celebrated 200 years of its establishment. The publication posted the video of the teen superstar the same day she showed off her writing skills by announcing her first book.

“We are thrilled to be publishing @milliebobbybrown’s dazzling debut novel, Nineteen Steps this autumn,” the caption read. It is certainly not the first time the company is working alongside a celebrity. Instead, they have a long history of celebrities approaching them for publication and editing suggestions.

About two weeks ago, they announced the launch of a memoir written by the American socialite Paris Hilton. Other celebrities in their portfolio include Justin Bieber (Just Getting Started), One Direction (Who We Are), and Demi Moore (Inside Out). 

Millie Bobby Brown brings stories of the brutal past

As of now, you all might know that Millie Bobby Brown has based her novel on the life of her grandmother. The woman who inspired our superstar on many turns of life. So, giving tribute to the World War II stories of all the civilians like her family, she wrote Nineteen Steps. Talking about the fiction novel in a press release, she stated this book is very close to her heart because it includes the experience of her grandma.

“I grew up listening to stories about her time living through the war. I’m honored to keep her story alive,” explained Brown. The book follows 18-year-old Nellie Morris who fell in love with an American airman amidst wartime.
