Millie Bobby Brown Takes a Break From ‘Stranger Things’ Set, Captured Chilling at Madison Square Garden for Rangers vs Kings
Stranger Things Season 5 began filming back in January, and now they are nearly at the finish line. But for Millie Bobby Brown, this year has been nothing less than a rollercoaster ride. She has had her hands full throughout the year- whether it was juggling her role in Stranger Things, expanding her beauty brand into fashion, and—most excitingly—getting married to the love of her life, Jake Bongiovi. Therefore, it is only natural that the 20-year-old takes a break here and there, stepping away from her busy, high-energy life to recharge.
Brown was recently spotted enjoying an ice hockey match at Madison Square Garden in the middle of the ongoing Stranger Things 5 shoots.

Millie Bobby Brown made a surprise appearance at the NY Rangers vs. LA Kings game at Madison Square Garden. Fans went wild as soon as she appeared on the big screens, and in her true fashion, she played along. At one point, she even channeled her inner Eleven, lifting her hands toward the screens with a dramatic, screamy expression. Whether it was hockey excitement or some low-key Stranger Things marketing, we might never know- but it looked like the actress was having a blast.
This was not Brown's first time at the Madison Square Garden this year. Back in February, she and Jake Bongiovi cheered on the New York Rangers at the same venue- before they tied the knot. Meanwhile, speaking of Stranger Things, recently some fresh set photos have accidentally spilled an intriguing detail from season 5.
It offered a glimpse into Gaten Matarazzo and Joe Keery’s dynamic, and how it will play a key role in Dustin’s journey in Season 5.
Stranger Things season 5 has some major Steve-Dustin moments in store
As per the new Stranger Things 5 set photos, Steve was seen paying a visit to Dustin at college. This was shared by Just Jared through a slideshow of over 25 behind-the-scenes shots, showing Gaten Matarazzo and Joe Keery hanging out on set while filming a scene in Atlanta earlier this month. The two actors were even spotted sharing a few hugs during the shoot. This comes shortly after Gaten Matarazzo opened up about how Eddie's death will shape Dustin's arc in the final season.

In an interview with The Direct, Matarazzo revealed that his character will be grappling with intense grief and trauma from Eddie's passing. The actor hoped viewers will connect with Dustin's journey as he navigates the "confusion and rage" of coping with the loss from season 4. He also teased the darker tone of Season 5 amidst the chaos in Hawkins- a town which is now forever changed by Vecna's destruction. With the filming almost finished, it will be only a matter of time before all these twists and character moments hit our screens.
