Since Season 4 of Stranger Things aired in 2022, the show’s main star: Millie Bobby Brown has surely kept herself busy. Besides working on the upcoming season, the $14 million-19-year-old has done wonders with her skincare brand Florence by Mills. But that is not all. She also wrote and launched a book detailing various learnings from her life called Nineteen Steps just last week. Meanwhile, Stranger Things Season 5 has hit a disappointing roadblock brought forth by the SAG-AFTRA strikes, halting its production.

Earlier today, Millie Bobby Brown shared a stunning close-up mirror selfie to her Instagram Story. But it was the song playing in the background that caught fans’ attention. The song ‘Girls on Film’ by Duran Duran that played during the second episode of Season 2 was playing along with the Damsel actress’ snap. In the show, the same song played along when Nancy got drunk at the Halloween party that she attended with Steven, where the two shared a special moment.

Before the arrival of Season 4 of the mystery thriller series, the second season of the show was lauded as being the best among the others. Particularly, the second episode, which received a staggering 9.4 rating in iMDb featured many iconic moments. Like the hilarious moment when Max made friends with a creature that had arrived from the Upside Down. 

However, there were many other reasons that made Season 2 of Stranger Things stand out the most for fans.

As the second season began, Stranger Things took fans on a wild ride that began with a heartwarming bond forming between Steven and Dustin. Meanwhile, Will Byers who is going to be the central focus of the upcoming final season was finally entering the spotlight back then. Also, who can forget the tear-jerker episode when Eleven finally deemed Hopper her ‘dad’ as the latter took her under his wing?

In addition to all this, Max Mayfield, who would become a show-defining entity, finally joined the troupe of teens. With the addition of Sadie Sink to the cast, the show finally had its main cast that would go on to deliver many nail-biting adventures. All this, and the culmination of many plots in Season 2, made for an undeniably gripping watch.
