The Upside Down fandom breathed a sigh of relief last month as Stranger Things finally brought its cast back to Atlanta to shoot its last season. To finally see Millie Bobby Brown and her co-stars in the same frame after what felt like eons was a treat. Years of mysteries, cliffhangers, and Demogorgon scares have finally led viewers to the epic climax of the Netflix series. Many wonder whether Hawkins’ ultimate destiny will receive a satisfying conclusion.

As for the show’s crew, it appears they are quite pleased with the ongoings at its sets at the moment. 

Millie Bobby Brown is all smiles at the Stranger Things shoot

Just a little while ago, the X (previously Twitter) account of Netflix shared a click of Millie Bobby Brown and the Duffer Brothers walking next to each other with inter-linked arms “in Hawkins”. While strolling across what appeared to be a filming location, the youngest of these three musketeers, Brown, seemed to be the cheeriest, flashing a big smile directly at the lens.

Although it was quite sunny out, Brown was wearing a mysterious black overcoat that covered her outfit down to her knees. It is possible that the black robe was hiding a season five-related secret in the wardrobe concealed under it. Earlier, some images that surfaced online of the sets made fans wonder if the show was playing around with its timeline in the final season. 

Besides these speculations, another theory has emerged recently regarding the fan-favorite character, Max. 

Will the Netflix series revive Max in season 5?

There are many unknowns the Hawkins gang of teens will battle in Season 5. Yet, without Sadie Sink’s Max, it all feels incomplete. Well, fans may not have to suffer the loss, judging by recent developments. Whispers of the cast shooting a sequence in a spot carrying a sign that read Hawkins Memorial Hospital have left fans wondering if it is Max who is being treated there.

Since she went down in season four, fans hope Eleven and her friends will immediately revive her so they can finally uncover the Upside Down’s mysteries. From Eleven’s struggle with her identity to Will’s impending change of arc hinted by the Duffer duo, Stranger Things enthusiasts are desperate to see them all overcome their demons and shine in its showdown.
