It is raining deals with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the American streaming giant. Amid the Spotify deal debacle, the couple did face a temporary setback by media houses and publications worldwide. The cutting-off ties were further severed as the fallout led to the widespread humiliation of the self-exiled pair. However, quickly shutting them all down, the pair has sprung back to publicity with a massive comeback. Amidst the entire chaos, Netflix proved to be their ally and has gotten the viewers on the edge with the thrilling announcements. 

According to reports, the Sussex couple are now busy with a movie adaptation called Bad Manners, of the famous novel, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. Although the contract has got the two as a team, this project will solely be led by the Duchess, Meghan Markle. Prince Harry, meanwhile, will be busy looking after another project with the streamer. Labeled as a ‘sensational solo’ the project will be focusing on what he calls his second home, Africa, following the steps of his late mother, Princess Diana. 

Royal experts, however, feel that the divergent plans between the two might lead to a bigger picture that they all had anticipated ever since they got married. Angela Levin had her focus fixated on Markle’s upcoming endeavor on the GB News royal debate. Weighing in the same, she said how pursuing such a path might have something to do with Markle’s own virtues. Levin, being skeptical of the project, says it seemingly “aligns with her dedication to empowering women and exploring societal dynamics.”

It would thus be a manifestation of her “feminist” values and her advocacy for women and their rights. Prince Harry’s, on the other hand, portrays his strong affinity with Africa’s nature and wildlife. But when are they hitting the screens?

Leave alone the release date, Netflix officials have confirmed none of the projects so far. However, reports citing claims from certain insiders believe the audience need not wait too long for these to hit the screens. By far, only one forthcoming project by the Duke has been confirmed by the streamer. 

Prince Harry’s Heart of Invictus is due next month in August, said the authorities of Netflix. Nonetheless, although none of their other projects have any official statements, Netflix CEO and spokespersons have spoken highly of their deals with the Sussexes.
