Moving onto the next, some recent developments regarding the Sussexes suggest the Duchess might soon be stepping into American politics. 

This, however, comes as no surprise since the Duchess has got some top-tier connections with significant American personalities and mannequins. Although they never appeared on screen together, the Duchess of Sussex and the Former First Lady of America, Michelle Obama, do share some uncanny intellectual mindsets. Like Markle, Michelle Obama has also been forever an advocate for women’s rights and empowerment. And now, a link between the two has thus caused some stir amidst the crowd. 

Archewell Foundation signed a transaction with eminent press personality 

As reported by The Sun, the Duchess apparently inked a transaction of about €90,000 with Michelle Obama’s former press secretary. The cash paid by the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation to eminent politician Katie McCormick Lelyveld’s PR company has got a lot to say about Meghan Markle and her future political ambitions. 

The development has reportedly stemmed from a 2020 discovery by the outlet. According to the source, the Duchess had a private meeting with the US presidential candidate Gavin Newsom. Although back then no further updates came up, it seems Markle’s wish to adhere to the plan has risen high once again. 

What was the transaction by Meghan Markle all about?

The money, as was understood from the 2021 tax filings of Archewell, was labeled as “strategic support for social impact PR.” The exact numbers stand at €89,000 for Ms. Lelyveld’s company, KMLSA LCC. It is also to note that all the above should be taken with a pinch of salt since no official declaration from the Sussex royals has followed yet.
