It was a big day for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Tuesday as they received the prestigious Ripple of Hope Award. The Sussexes were awarded for their humanitarian and charity work through their nonprofit organization, Archewell. Meanwhile, standing up against racism in the royal family was one of the biggest reasons behind the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization lauding the Duke and Duchess.

The couple looked at their fashionable and classy best at the Gala hosted in New York. Meghan Markle dazzled in a white off-shoulder dress by Louis Vuitton. Prince Harry also complimented his better half well as he oozed out gentleman vibes in a blue pantsuit. The fans are all hearts for the couple, especially Markle’s outfit. They lauded the Duchess for making a bold statement with the way she styled her look for the night. Notably, Princess Diana’s ring was one of the major attractions of the Suits alum’s attire. 

Meghan Markle had a strong reason for wearing Princess Diana’s ring

Nicolas Ghesquière was Meghan Markle’s designer for the night. The Louis Vuitton outfit resonated with Markle’s personality. The sharp tailoring, off-shoulder neckline, and front slit perfectly complemented the Duchess. Meanwhile, the white color of the gown had a beautiful thought behind it. White is the color of peace. And it paid a tribute to the philanthropy work done by the Sussex royals. 

Interestingly, this was the first time that Meghan Markle trusted the French label for a big occasion. In the past, he donned brands like Givenchy and Carolina Herrera. Meanwhile, to hype up her minimalistic outfit, the former American actress styled it with black pumps, dangling earrings, a white clutch, and her signature low neat bun. Markle sported another accessory that gave out a powerful message.

She reflected on the importance of the event by wearing Princess Diana’s aquamarine ring. The ring is significant, as it is also called the freedom ring. The late royal wore the piece of jewelry as a replacement for her engagement ring following her divorce to now King Charles III. Markle impressed the fans by flaunting the freedom ring just two days before the release of the Netflix docuseries where she and her husband will be telling their truth.
