Meghan Markle has had a one-of-a-kind journey to fame. From making small appearances in big movies to finally carving her way into the loved legal drama Suits. Shortly after fans got used to seeing them on television, she was standing on the Kensington Palace Balcony as Prince Harry’s bride. While the ups were high, the downs couldn’t be lower. The Thomas Markle controversy, the Megxit, the Harry & Meghan documentary fiasco, and finally Spare. After the back-to-back downs, the Duchess of Sussex’s public image finally has a ray of hope.

After the release of the Harry & Meghan docuseries and Spare, the tweets that came in were no lesser than tomatoes directed towards the Sussexes. People started questioning what is it really that the couple is known for. Thankfully, the Women of Vision award pulled up at the direst of times.

Meghan Markle is trending again, for good reasons

It is ironic how the sentiment was the farthest from Meghan Markle when they got their chance of telling their side of the story. However, PR Expert, Jordan James told The Express  “It is sure to be a huge boost for her public image – which is in dire need of help,” about the Women of Vision award that Markle will be bestowed with.

Given the fact that she is receiving the award from a prestigious organization known for its work toward the empowerment of women, it has easily proved to be one of the biggest for Markle. After being thrown out of Frogmore Cottage and more negative publicity, the Sussexes have a chance to reinvent themselves with this award.

Why do people hate the Duchess of Sussex?

That Markle often finds herself being humiliated publicly either by someone who identifies himself as a respected journalist or by a popular adult animation is a known fact. However, the reason behind all these hate campaigns has always been foggy. Some blame her for disrupting the peace in the royal family, while others have deemed her a leech. None of this, however, has solid evidence.

The same can be said about Meghan Markle, who relayed her side of the story through various interviews and docuseries. But the degree of malicious comments that the Duchess has to deal with is truly saddening. Hopefully, she gets recognized for her efforts toward the betterment of women’s conditions following the award.
