Despite all the criticism and trolling that comes her way from the royal experts and crown servants, Meghan Markle continues winning the hearts of the people. Since her entry into the royal family, the former American actress has been hailed as a reflection of Princess Diana. A lot of people often laud Markle for holding Diana’s torch with grace and being the princess of people. The Duchess again channeled her inner Princess Diana on the occasion of Thanksgiving.

Every year, Meghan Markle loves to celebrate thanksgiving with her family comprising Prince Harry, Archie, Lilibet, and her mother Doria Ragland. The Suits alum enjoys cooking a traditional Thanksgiving meal at home. She continued the tradition of cooking the classic meal this year as well. However, instead of Prince Harry and her children, the meal was enjoyed by 300 women at Downtown Women’s Center.

Meghan Markle dons a casual outfit for Thanksgiving

On Thursday, Meghan Markle was spotted at the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles, which is just miles away from their Montecito mansion. In the center, the Duchess lent a helping hand to various other people to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The food was then served to 300 homeless women. The picture of Markle cooking the meal was shared by the official website of her and Prince Harry’s Archewell Foundation. 

Along with the photo, there was a small description that described the events of the day. Notably, the Duchess kept her outing low-key as she was spotted wearing a green sweatshirt and a baseball cap. Meanwhile, it was not surprising to see the Sussexes spending the holidays in the United States.

Their relationship with the royal family has become more strained as the docuseries and memoir will be released in December and January, respectively. Moreover, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already refused the offer from King Charles III to join the family at Sandringham for Christmas. It will be the first Christmas for the House of Windsor without Queen Elizabeth II and thus the new monarch wanted to see the whole family together.
