Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, ever since the moment they met, have been pretty inseparable. Now be it exiting the royal family or embarking on a journey to expose the wrongdoings of the said family through a multi-million dollar Netflix documentary, the couple has always remained by each other’s side. But that did not seem to be the case for Prince Harry’s memoir Spare. Understandably, Meghan Markle was absent from the first part of the 416 pages long memoir as the young prince talks about his mother, the aftermath of her death, and life in the military.

But despite the effect of the Suits actress in his life being made very clear in the second half, Markle is not seen around much during the promotions. This proves to be very fortunate for her, as Prince Harry deals with claims of “airing out his dirty laundry” to the public and many other jarring inaccuracies. However, much like anything involving Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, there fails to be an occurrence where she isn’t called the “scheming mastermind.

Was Meghan Markle the mastermind behind the Prince’s memoir?

The attempts of the couple to declare their mutual love for each other fall deaf in the ears of those who claim that Meghan Markle is using Prince Harry for her own good. And this section of society did not waste a minute in claiming that the Prince’s memoir written by him and talented ghostwriter JR Moehringer was dictated by Meghan Markle.

However, a source tells The Telegraph that the Suits actress “was slightly more circumspect about the concept of a memoir and may have raised gentle concerns about whether it was the right move“.

The claim seems believable if we pay attention to the approach the Duchess opted for in the Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary. Despite making the hurt and discrimination evident, unlike the memoir, the documentary was not unhinged.

The source further elaborated that Markle has remained an actress before she became a royal and knows from experience that belting out all your emotions is not the way to go about things, especially for a Prince turned celebrity. “Is this the way she would have approached things? Possibly not,” the source said. But given her husband’s personal attachment to the memoir and his determination to claim an apology from his father and brother, Markle chose not to get too involved and let him go about his journey.
