Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling made headlines recently for their upcoming film, Barbie. The film was announced at the beginning of 2022, and filming began in March. Although initially the film’s shooting started at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, England, some of its scenes were later shot in Los Angeles.

During its England schedule, there were barely any photographs that went viral. Margot and Ryan were “dying inside” as they were getting clicked

On September 19, Margot Robbie appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon majorly for the promotion of her release Amsterdam. Since Barbie is in the hype for months now, it was natural that Jimmy talked about it. Most importantly, she was questioned about the photographs of her and Ryan Gosling wearing fluorescent suits and roller blades, that went viral.

Initially, everybody thought that it was a publicity stunt by the team of Barbie in order to create more hype. However, Robbie cleared that it was not what they were trying to do. She shared how she and Gosling were actually “mortified” of the costume and were feeling embarrassed. According to her, it was her most embarrassing moment till date.

“We look like we’re like laughing and having fun, but dying on the inside. Dying,” said Robbie according to Huffpost. She also mentioned that they were not expecting many people who would come to watch the shoot. However, later on, hundreds of people appeared on the set and it became humiliating for Robbie and Gosling to shoot in front of them in that costume.

Fans’ interest in Barbie may have been sparked by images of Gosling and Robbie, but absolutely little information about the storyline has been made widely available. The film is set to release on July 21, 2023, so fans will still have to wait for a long time.
