Never Have I Ever was her debut show and we famously know her as Devi Vishwakumar. In the new season, we saw Devi going through several heartbreaks and finding her way back to Ben. This story of a savage flawed girl suffering from psychosomatic weakness has brought Ramakrishnan wide recognition. However, the actress is impatient like a reel-life persona, costing her a dream job.

During the conversation, she was asked about her favorite animation movie, to which she replied Howl’s Moving Castle. She added that Paper Man came as an inspiration in her life.

It was the time when young Maitreyi decided that she would become an animator because that romantic Walt Disney movie made her fall in love with this genre. Moreover, Seventeen asked: “When did you know that you wanted to be an actress?”

In her answer, the 20-year-old Maitreyi Ramakrishnan said that she actually never desired to become an actor. On the other hand, she had a fairytale dream, as she stated in the interview.

“I for the longest time wanted to be a Disney Pixar animator, and then I realized I did not have the patience for that.”

The actress expressed her love for acting and that she used to do theater in school. Where she finally realized that she enjoyed doing this thing and could give a lifetime to this profession.
