Netflix teen comedy film, Metals Lords explores a bunch of high schools students struggling every day to make their stand at their school’s Battle of the Bands competition. D. B. Weiss wrote the film and celebrates the popularity of Heavy Metal. Two high school students start a metal band. But every great thing comes at a cost. They didn’t find any bassists in their school. In order to adjust, they invite a girl to join the band who plays the cello. To win the battle of music, they need to work hard together and practice day and night.

You might think the best part of the film is the plot or the acting. However, D. B. Weiss’s passion for metal music is the highlight in this teen film. This resulted in some of the metal classics like Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls” Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper”, Avenged Sevenfold, and Zeal & Ardor to be featured in the film.
