The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle brought about a royal shift in the House of Windsor as they tied the knot in the year 2018. Everyone in the Kingdom could anticipate what was coming in. However, the humongous fame and glory that Meghan Markle brought to the royal family took the family to the pinnacle of popularity. A new stirring royal book claimed that the King stated he could not pay for Meghan Markle. As it is, he was already sustaining the finances of his wife, Queen Camilla, and the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton. He thus could not afford to keep paying the Duchess, revealed Robert Jobson’s Our King: Charles III–The Man, and The Monarch Revealed. The same “infuriated Harry” giving rise to subtle spats between his now estranged family.

As reported by Daily Mail, the back and forth stemmed from the Duke’s decision to marry the former American actress. The outlet reported that Prince Harry apparently did not get the response he was expecting from his father. Over even from his now-turned arch-nemesis elder brother for that case. Speaking of the King and his financial goals, he recently sent around a stirring declaration that sent shockwaves around the Kingdom. He claimed that he will be cutting down on the “top-heavy royal household.” 

Royals who are not counted as working royals in affiliation with the monarchy will be “paying their own rents.” This straight away pointed out his estranged son and family. The Sussexes stepped down as the working royals to attain financial independence from The Crown.
