After a long battle, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian finally settled their divorce. Kim Kardashian first filed for divorce from Ye on 14 February 2021. The singer was largely noncooperative and missed court dates in the beginning and was given one last chance to make his attendance in the court. But he decided to settle things a night before he was set to be deposed.
The couple first got married in 2014. This would be Kardashian’s third divorce and her longest marriage. They have been having different opinions about everything from political opinions, and finances, to ways of raising children which led to the split. After a long battle, the duo has now come to a settlement. Here are the details.

On Monday, West and Kardashian finally came to a settlement on their divorce. As per the settlement, Ye will pay $200,000 a month for the maintenance of their four children. Apart from the child support costs, the expenses of the kid’s schooling, security, and other activities will also be split in half by the parents. In case any disputes arise in the future in this regard, they will have to solve them amicably or let a third involved party decide. As for compensation or spousal support, there is none. The couple will not be expecting anything from each other. As for the assets, they will be split as per the conditions of the prenuptial agreement.
Although the kids will remain with the mother 80% of the time. However, reaching this point was no easy task. For months after the SKIMS owner filed for divorce, the Gold Digger singer made attempts to win her back, failing which, he also started taking a dig at her on social media. The entertainer wanted their children North, Psalm, Saint, and Chicago to study at his Donda Academy.
Ye also leaked screenshots of chats with Kardashian and was in disagreement about their daughter North West appearing on social media.
