Greta Gerwig has been sending shockwaves through the internet for several months now. Without disclosing the tiniest details about the first live adaptation of kids’ toys, Barbie has created much hype. Besides some of the glimpses of Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie from the set, we have got nothing. There is only word spread around that the movie has a large cast of celebrities taking different versions of Barbie and Ken. In all these months of speculations and rumors, fans got to see all these actors for the first time in the posters dropped on social media. People are now choosing their favorite alternative for the male leads in the movie.

Fans who regularly remain active on Twitter might have come across some incredible posters of different Kens. The picture includes actors like Ryan Gosling, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Connor Swindells, Ncuti Gatwa, and Scott Evans. So taking those posters, Pop Base recently started a game on Twitter asking fans who would they cast as another Ken in Barbie.

Giving their two cents on the question, fans instantly flooded the comment section with the names of their favorite male actors. Some chose Pedro Pascal, who recently turned the internet upside down with his impeccable acting in The Last of Us. While many shared pictures of celebrities, including Glen Powell, Jensen Ackles, Tyler Hoechlin, Regé-Jean Page, and Dacre Montgomery, among others.

We do not know what the story is, but these pictures did give viewers some point of clarity about what exactly every actor looks like. 

Ryan Gosling and Simu Liu don’t seem harmonious in Barbie

Following these posters, Warner Bros released the second teaser of the movie and it has much to say. As the video introduces all the characters of Barbie on some vacationland. However, the leading Ken played by Ryan Gosling does not seem to like the other cool Ken aka Simu Liu. The teaser revealed that both the actors are playing rivals in the film and might be trying to win over the beautiful blonde girl.

Fans saw all the Barbies doing some real fun in their shiny outfits and it is exciting how they all have jobs and identities, except Nicola Coughlan who threw away the chance of meeting Ryan Gosling on the set. The colorful location of an island, glamorous costumes, and sleek hairstyles tell us why it is the most anticipated movie of the summer. Barbie is scheduled for a release in theaters on July 21, 2023.
