JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a crazy show, and the Stone Ocean is probably one of the oddest seasons in the Joestars’ history. As Jolyne Cujoh tries to defend her name while also trying to save her father’s life, Jotaro Kujo, a new foe, emerges in the form of Mew Mew and her Stand, Jailhouse Rock. While Jolyne fights this battle, the anime rendition, however, leaves out a big easter egg reference to a hugely successful 1999 film.

Adapting a story for the big screen is an incredibly difficult task, and variations are bound to open. As a result, these variations are often picked up by keen fans of the original material who dissect even the minute details. The same has happened with Stone Ocean.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean left put a major easter egg from the anime

Jolyne Cujoh faces a Stand from a peculiar character dubbed Mew Mew in the manga Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. According to the written account, Mew Mew’s Stand, Jailhouse Rock, causes her victims to recall just three unique things, making identifying and defeating her a mammoth endeavor for Jotaro Kujo’s daughter.

During a scenario in which Jolyne sneaks onto the Green Dolphin Street Prison’s entertainment room, she ruins the finale of the Sixth Sense for those convicts who were in the middle of the terrifying film, causing quite a few prisoners to lose their cool owing to the wielder of Stone Free.
