Joey Batey Reveals How Henry Cavill’s Final Day Was Full of “exhaustion and fatigue” but Never Hindered ‘The Witcher’ Actor’s Grit
On the last day of filming season 3, Henry Cavill was physically not in great shape. Before saying a last goodbye to his Geralt, the British actor got the company of his on and off-screen friend, Joey Batey. While the cast of Netflix’s historic drama was shocked by the news, the trusted bard from the series stayed with his friend on the last day as he revealed how the 40-year-old managed to pay back his iconic White Wolf.
Many times, the Enola Holmes actor has been praised for his constant dedication and sincerity in his roles. And Geralt is no exception. Until the end, Henry Cavill tried to give everything he had to his remarkable character, Geralt. Joey Batey, Jaskier in the show, talked to Yahoo about the last day of his co-star on the sets. While expressing his emotions, Batey revealed despite finishing his shoot early, he wanted to be there for Cavill. As he remembered the day, he added, “Even in the final day with that exhaustion and fatigue, he was giving it everything that he had for these huge fight scenes.”

The 34-year-old actor also praised his fellow actor as he admired his hard work. Despite the Superman star not being physically fit, he gave every ounce of his energy to his Geralt. Batey hoped for the viewers to see all the consistent efforts Cavill put in until the last moment. Not only Batey but also the stunt coordinator praised the Man of Steel star’s efforts.

He revealed the Justice League star was his second coordinator and helped him a lot in directing the fight choreography.
Batey revealed the same as he talked about his friend’s last day on the sets. Even on his last day, Henry Cavill was invested in improving his scenes, learning, and giving everything he had.
