It is only a matter of time before the Upside Down Avengers assemble in Hawkins. But while they are at it, the Hawkins-hungry fans are savoring every piece of Stranger Things news as if it is the one-stop solution to all their problems. Although it remains to be seen what the world of Demogorgons and Vecna has in store for Eleven and co., between the gush of far-fetched fan theories and fear for the unknown, Joe Keery has taken fans on an unexpected but emotional journey to the other side to ease the wait for season 5. 

On Friday, April 11, Stranger Things star Joe Keery took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos with his friends, in and out of Upside Down, jamming and goofing around in what appeared to be The Electric Lady Studios. The dump begins with a slide featuring him and Gaten Matarazzo behind the wheel, while the next one shows Maya Hawke in it. Another picture shows Hawke, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Sadie Sink chilling and sitting across each other on a couch on the porch.

Though the recording studio bits covered up for most of his Instagram dump, Joe Keery brought yet another Stranger Things respite for fans with a picture of him and Noah Schnapp doing the most bizarre thing. In a playful nod to a viral image of nuns puffing, Schnapp and Keery poked fun at the backdrop, mimicking the pose sans puffs. Keery took the hilarity up a notch, donning a tote bag on his head for comedic relief.

While the Stranger Things wrap even had the Hawkins gang in tears, Joe Keery’s surprise trip for fans with those very members of the Upside Down now has fans on the same boat.

Every Stranger Things-sized Easter egg and crumb has fans preparing for uncertainty from ages ago. However, amidst the tense atmosphere of what could ultimately go down in the Upside Down, Joe Keery’s Instagram dump with the Hawkins gang had fans emotionally “overwhelmed.” Though this is just one carousel of the six, he recently surprised his followers with, fans cannot be thankful enough for “ANOTHER ONE.”

A X user, almost teary-eyed, wrote, “I’ll miss you guys after Season 5.” While Keery’s social activity has been a treat for Stranger Things fans, especially with the never-ending wait for a full circle, fans are clearly “living for the spam posting” as if it is the only pill they need to keep their patience intact. However, even though Keery’s intention may have been to stir the frenzy to a level above, fans are now “in tears,” unable to control themselves as Stranger Things season 5 inches closer.
