Enraged with the Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan Clarkson passed vile and vulgar remarks on the Duchess of Sussex. In a write-up for The Sun, he explained his dream of seeing Markle being humiliated in the streets of Britain.

The derogatory words used by the game show host triggered a lot of people all over the world. Many notable personalities have demanded strict action against Jeremy Clarkson while he is also receiving a lot of hate on social media. 21,000 complaints have been lodged with Ipso, the press regulator forum. Following the extreme bashing and outrage from all fronts, the English broadcaster wrote an explanation.

Jeremy Clarkson offers clarification about his column on Meghan Markle
The English journalist took to Twitter on Monday to explain his side of the story. Jeremy Clarkson admitted putting his foot in it and promised to be more careful in the future. Though the writer was horrified by all the hate, he did not find it appropriate to apologize to Meghan Markle for his vulgar remarks.

The controversial column has been removed at a special request by the journalist. Meanwhile, Clarkson faced backlash for his words at his home as well. His daughter, Emily Clarkson, was not pleased with the column and took to her official Instagram to show her solidarity with Meghan Markle. As per BBC, the broadcaster’s daughter wrote on her Instagram that she does not stand by her father in the controversy regarding his column. Emily Clarkson also claimed that she is against any kind of misogyny and online hatred against women.
