Jenna Ortega is to Wednesday what Millie Bobby Brown is to Stranger Things. Both actresses have blown us away with their brimming talent at such a young age. Imagining either of the shows without the respective actress is almost as horrifying as eating Thanksgiving turkey without the dressing, especially in the case of Jenna Ortega, whose real-life personality is synonymous with her reel-life character Wednesday Addams. If we gave you a pop quiz asking which one among Wednesday Addams and Jenna Ortega performed autopsies on small dead animals, you will probably get it wrong.

Both Wednesday and Stranger Things are shows that have redefined what it means to be a successful project for the streaming giant. And Wednesday even broke the Stranger Things record, which has, for years, remained the most-watched show on Netflix. While there has been no official confirmation but at this point, no one is doubting that Wednesday is going to have a Season 2 on Netflix. And when it does, Jenna Ortega has a request that is very similar to one made by Millie Bobby Brown.

What do top Netflix actresses Jenna Ortega and Millie Bobby Brown want?

Much in sync with her inner Gothic girl, Jenna Ortega wants Season 2 of Wednesday to explore darker themes. Are we surprised? The previous season already dealt with murder, a flesh-eating monster, and some grave digging. What it did not deal with, however, is the criminal injustice that Xavier Thorpe faced, but that is beside the point.

The point is that the 20-year-old Wednesday actress said “I think I want it to continue down an antihero stream rather than a typical hero.”

Her expectations are very similar to those made by British actress Millie Bobby Brown while promoting Stranger Things Season 4. Brown said “We need to be Game of Thrones” as reported by Nobelle Borines.

The actress talked about how in the upcoming season more Stranger Things characters should be killed. Not to mention, Brown has also iconically stated that she believes Eddie Murphy should have died in her Vanity Fair lie detector test. While the demands are not identical, the end product of both is going to result in a brilliant masterpiece. Fans are pumped to watch the upcoming season of both shows.
