jeen-yuhs: A Kanye West Trilogy Trailer

Netflix recently released a first-look trailer for the upcoming documentary about Kanye West. Clarence ‘Coodie’ Simmons and Chike Ozah have captured Kanye West for the last 21 years. Hence, we will have a closer than ever insight on the life of the hip-hop icon that Kanye is. “When I first put the camera on this up-and-coming producer back in ’98, I knew he was destined for greatness,” says Simmons in the first look trailer. “The goal was to see how far his dreams would take him, but I had no idea where life would take us next.

We will be looking at everything Kanye went through, the highs, the lows, and we will see his career foster in front of our eyes. “It felt like the bigger Kanye got, the further we grew apart. But there was more to Kanye’s story that I needed to tell,” Simmons says.
