Jaskier has a lot going on in The Witcher season 3, and the poor guy cannot even complain about it. Even though this season has landed the fan-favorite bard, a prince, he has a lot to take care of. Among many others is his worst nightmare, his rival bard, the troubadour of Cidaris. When you are the heart of an entire show, you are the only one people turn to when they want to experience the serenity of music, you feel special.

And then, certainly one day, out of the blue, stands another of your like to take up your space. Everything feels to be slipping off your hands. Such is the state of our Dandelion as Valdo is here to charm The Continent with his stylish music. And it seems like even the streaming giant cannot keep hush about it. Netflix’s official The Witcher account apparently tweeted Valdo’s debut song in the series, ‘A Jinx Upon That Minx, stating, “If isn’t on my 2023 Spotify Wrapped, I don’t know what is.”

Jaskier must be hurt, dearest Netflix! Anyway, that sure is an enticing first-impression song as it drew the sea monster towards them, if not anything else. However, it seems like this latest tweet may not have only hurt Jaskier but also divided the fans, making them question Netflix’s choices.

Valdo’s The Witcher debut song divides the fanatics as Netflix shares the clip with sheer excitement

Seems like Dandelion is not the only one to hate Valdo and wants to kill him with the Djinn Jar. Even fans doubt Netflix’s taste in music. While some straightforwardly asked to “delete” the song, others are grateful for other songs that exist in the series, as this one would get boring.

Some fans harshly accused this as the reason for Henry Cavill’s departure.

Another fan notably begged to “differ.” They claimed that they watched the series because of Joey Batey’s voice.

A plethora of other The Witcher fans claimed that they loved Valdo, that he is 10/10, and everything and more they asked for.

Another fan remarkably called Valdo “a living legend.”
