After watching the tale of Geralt of Rivia, Cirilla of Cintra, and Yennefer of Vengerberg in two seasons, Jaskier sings the legendary tale one more time. Henry Cavill is playing the iconic character in The Witcher Saga for the last time. Before Cavill’s final run, his trusted bard, with his beautiful wit, takes the viewers on a nostalgic path.

The Witcher season 3 is just a few days away from landing on the streaming giant. Volume one will be available to watch on the 29th of June. Before the third season, Joey Batey refreshed the viewers’ memory about what happened in the previous seasons. First, he talked about Ciri, the central character who had lost everything. She lost her grandmother, her home, and her parents. However, because of a prophecy, she is under the care of Geralt.

Do you remember how Yennefer betrayed Geralt to get her powers back? Yes, she had lost her power in the previous season. But because she lured Ciri with her for a sacrifice, she got her powers back but lost Geralt’s trust. However, towards the end, when Ciri was possessed, it was Yennefer who sacrificed herself. Now, Geralt realized Ciri was not safe. Therefore, he had to leave with Ciri and Yennefer to protect her.

So, what about Geralt himself? Well, Geralt had been a monster killer neutral Witcher. However, in the upcoming season, Geralt will have to change his perception. But how does the Enola Holmes actor feel about this big change?

Henry Cavill believes the path is hard for Geralt

During their TUDUM interview, Joey Batey revealed Geralt’s political viewers were like Batman. He has been a neutral mutant who kills monsters and never picks a specific side. However, the 40-year-old revealed now, it would be a question of protecting Ciri. Therefore, now, Geralt must choose the right side to rely on. Nevertheless, the actor did not reveal much about the future. But he sure admitted the path will be a lot harder for Geralt. 

Additionally, as Jaskier also revealed in his recent song, Ciri’s father, who was supposed to be dead, was also back in the picture. Thus, this adds more thrill to Geralt’s plan. And of course, there is Yennefer and Geralt’s love story as well. While everything is in the play, there are going to be new monsters as well—literally and figuratively, too.
