Given that it is among the highest-ranking science fiction shows, not just on Netflix but in general, it is no wonder that reality is quite precious on the Stranger Things set. Having created a whole new Upside Down world that sends shivers down the spine, the fantasy factor on the Netflix original is quite high. But much like his haunting on-screen persona, Jamie Campbell Bower likes to keep one foot firmly planted in reality.

While narrating an incident that took place while filming the much talked about Max vs Vecna scene with 'Running Up That Hill' playing in the background, the actor revealed a moment of weakness that showed him the Stranger Things set for what it truly was; a mindful million dollar production.

Given that the show has been running for more than half a decade, Stranger Things has had more than a few standout moments. However, the scene where Max fights Vecna in the Upside Down as the thrilling music plays is an unforgettable trailblazer. While speaking at Comic-Con on September 14, Jamie Campbell Bower narrated an incident that transpired behind the scenes where he fell when Max ripped out Vecna's vines and heard a momentary lapse in the breathing on the set. Naturally, Bower was moved by the concern, only to realize it was not for him but for the makeup.

The tales about Vecna and the excruciating procedure of transformation that required hours of carefully crafted makeup are quite infamous, especially with the revelation of a cast member having reduced to tears on their first encounter with Jamie Campell Bower in Vecna's get-up. However, this one anecdote with Bower realizing who would the Stranger Things cast choose to save him or his makeup, if it ever came down to it, while he was mid-fall remains the most hilarious.

Stranger Things' main antagonist, Vecna having traded skin for a horrifying veiny layer, is a sight that can make even the strongest squirm in their seats. Add to this, the chilling background of Henry Creel, and things get a thousand times worse. However, the actor behind this horrifying villain is a whole different story. From making "stop it, behave yourself" the Internet's favorite phrase to really making everyone question what a 'vecnacussy' is, Bower is a barrel of laughs.

Not only does he bring a note of hilarity to the Stranger Things set, but the actor continues his shenanigans online. Easily one of the funniest celebrities online, the actor had everyone snorting as he revealed his unhinged thoughts about Glen Powell and his very thoughtful actions for a fan. As he continues to share fun tid bits on-line and off-line, Jamie Campbell Bower along with the meticulous Stranger Things team might just be setting the stage for a more horrifying Vecna in Stranger Things Season 5.
