Millie Bobby Brown is amongst the top actresses in the industry today. In recent times, she is one of the best actors there is and every director wants to work with her. The 18-year-old star has cemented herself as an incredibly talented actress. However, her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi is also slowly carving a niche out for himself. Not long ago, the 20-year-old actor joined the cast of a comedy film Sweethearts. And it seems like 2023 is a great year for Bongiovi as the actor recently landed himself his second major role.

As per recent reports by Variety, the 20-year-old son of Jon Bon Jovi is one of the latest additions to the cast of an upcoming rock comedy project Rockbottom. Apart from Bongiovi, the American actress McKaley Miller, known for her roles in Buttler and Ma is also a new addition to the cast. Furthermore, Teala Dunn is also on board, along with Miller and Bongiovi. The 13 Reasons Why star Tom Everett Scott will take over as the lead of this upcoming project.

The 20-year-old actor has mostly been focused towards his music career, but he also enjoys a considerable following on social media. However, it seems like in 2023, Bongiovi has a few plans to make some progress in his acting career as well. The Black Love fame Todd Tucker will be the frontrunner for the upcoming project.

What is Rockbottom about?

The film will follow the story of a metal music band CougarSnake. Rockbottom will take the audience through the short-lived career of the metal band as the members part their ways over the direction of the group. Meanwhile, Scott plays a single father, Jesse, who is the bass player of the band. Miller will star as Jesse’s daughter Alex, while Teala Dunn will play Alex’s best friend Kat.

As the band members part their ways, the two friends decide to give it their all in an attempt to reunite the members. Bongiovi will play Justin, a potential lead band singer for the rock band. Interestingly, Justin suffers with stage fear and has to overcome it to lead the band back to its glory.
