Peaky Blinders season 6 has had a bumpy ride as of now. Many fans complained about the show’s slow pace and dull episodes. A total opposite of the previous seasons. The criticism got so bad that Anthony himself had to address them. However, episode four seems to have revived this fan opinion slightly.
In a recent interview, Anthony surprised the fans by revealing that the last and final episode of the hit crime drama will be a staggering 81 minutes long.
He even added that the last episode will be different from the whole season. And fans will surely understand why the previous episode was allegedly dull. “It feels very, very different to the rest of the season. It feels very, very different to anything we’ve done before. It’s very epic in scope.”
The director even called the last episode a film in the sense that it is a dry run for the eventual Peaky Blinders film that will conclude the whole series. He said “It’s such a Peaky thing to do for the last hurrah”
What can we expect from the movie?
It was revealed earlier by show creator Steven Knight that the Peaky Blinders movie will be about World War II. It will feature “untold story that happened in the Second World War, which the Peakys are going to be involved in”.
