Events that F1: Drive to Survive Season 4 has to show
Season 4 of F1: Drive to Survive is arriving on the 11th of March and a new trailer just dropped. One can’t help but think about what will be included in the new season. Yes! We all know that the controversial Verstappen and Hamilton finish will indeed be included, but many other things should be included.
And knowing Netflix and looking at the previous season, they might overlook a few important events from last year that should make their way no matter what!
Esteban Ocon’s win in Hungary
The Hungarian Grand Prix was absolutely insane! The win by Ocon will inevitably go down as one of the most remarkable finishes in the recent history of F1. This was Esteban’s first win ever, and he beat the likes of Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton to finish first. Now with the first few episodes of Drive to Survive showing the life of Esteban and him saying that Netflix did meet him weeks after the win. It will be nice to see if we get an off-the-track celebration of the historic victory.
The Mazepin-Schumacher face off
Now, what good is a binge-worthy show without a bit of drama? Now Netflix does exaggerate a few things to increase the drama. However, that was not the case with Haas rookies Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher. For the entirety of their debut, both Mazepin and Schumacher openly expressed their resentment for each other. With Mich saying that their relationship was beyond repair and Nikita accusing Mich of ignoring team orders. It will be fun to see how the team and both maintain their relationship when the camera would not follow them.

The Fastest lap from Bottas and Russel’s transfer to Mercedes
2021 was a historic year, to say the less. We had two landmark events in just one season of F1. Now when we look back, it feels like a lifetime has passed. But it happened nevertheless. In 2021, Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas dominated the Mexico City Grand Prix by setting a new DHL Fastest lap in just 1:17.774. What makes the lap more interesting is that he snatched the title from his own teammate Lewis Hamilton.
