It seems as if Netflix hasn’t peaked yet, or has it? Some brilliant series/movies never make it to Netflix because distributing rights acts as a barrier. However, Netflix has broken the barrier with season 15 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Thus, fans of the hit comedy will raise a toast to their favorite dysfunctional gang.

But, we will have to play the role of a spoilsport, as not every Netflix subscriber can watch the sitcom on Netflix. Much like the series itself, everyone cannot enjoy season 15 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on the streaming platform. So, let us look at the lucky people who can stream the series on Netflix.

The Gang goes to Ireland in season 15

Although Paddy’s Pub is in Philly, the gang decides to take a trip to Ireland. Thus, only in a couple of episodes of Sunny do we see the gang in their natural habitat. Since the gang had arrived in Ireland, it wouldn’t have been fair for the Netflix UK & Ireland viewers to not stream them. Thus, the Twitter handle of Netflix UK & Ireland announced that season 15 would premiere on February 1, 2022.

The first episode of Season 15, titled 2020: A Year In Review, premiered on The FX channel in the US on December 1, 2021. Thus, the wait for the UK & Ireland fans has been long. However, the 15th season comprises only eight episodes, and fans can binge it within two days. Netflix UK & Ireland has struck a deal that allows it to stream the previous 14 seasons of the sitcom.

Who stars in season 15 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia?

It is a miracle that no cast member has left the sitcom after 15 seasons. While Glenn Howerton had left the series in its 12th season, he came back in the 13th season. Except for Cricket, the 15th season has no absentees from the main cast and the recurring cast. Instead, the season has added new characters only for the gang to torture them in the most inhumane way.

Unfortunately for the fans in the US, Sunny won’t be coming to Netflix anytime soon. However, US viewers can enjoy all the seasons of the series on Hulu.
