Netflix with its top-notch originals has managed to weather out the storm of streamers that have come into the picture. And in this pursuit, it has also become the playground of teenage dreams. One original series that best encapsulates OTT Mogul’s success and prominence is Sex Education. A realistic mirage brimming with representation far and wide, the series has recently announced its fourth and final season.

Sex Education Season 4 is set to reach audiences in the coming months and the creators have just fueled the hype with a set of first-look pictures. While a total of nine pictures were dropped, fans could barely make it past the second one as it featured Emma Mackey in her Maeve avatar.

Owing to her delightful rise through projects such as Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, Mackey had stated earlier that she will no longer be a part of the series. However, her statement would only be valid had the series gone on to do more seasons. Emma Mackey will be reprising the role of Maeve in Sex Education Season 4, but so is her pseudo-rival Ruby.

It is still surprising how the show managed to effectively tackle the issues it did in just three seasons. But fans are raising concerns about the longevity of the final season.

Taking Reddit into account, fans are amazed by Cal’s return to what they describe as “adding nothing to the storyline“. While Cal was lucky enough to be spared with a slight jab, that has not been the case for Isaac. For fans, he has become the picture definition of ‘prick’ since he decided to step in. While the hate for these two characters has taken the front seat, the true endgame that is sure to be Otis and his jacket has been showered with tons of love.
