The world of Netflix is filled with movies and shows ranging from old classics to new-age superheroes. However, aside from that, it also houses several documentaries and forest-related shows. However, the British documentary series Hidden Kingdom is not one of them. The show is based on animals’ experiences of the world through the eyes and the voice of humans. Further, the entire series is narrated by English actor and broadcaster Stephen Fry.
The three-part documentary was broadcast for the first time in 2014 on BBC One. But was officially announced in 2013 by former BBC head of commissioning for natural history and science, Kim Shillinglaw. Interestingly, it was released in the US under a different title, Mini Monsters, and shown on the Discovery Channel the same year. While the series is not available on Netflix, viewers may purchase or rent it on a variety of other platforms, including Apple TV, Google Play Movies, Amazon Video, and Vudu.
While the British Wildlife documentary is not accessible on Netflix, there are several others in the same genre that the public can binge-watch.
