Sanctuary for our nameless saviors, those who often get trodden under the weight of the wants of their beloveds, the bearers of the pains of their family; (screeches of the tape rewinding) is what Netflix seems to be having next on its agenda for 'documentary inventory boost' task list, it seems. Honoring in its surety, but the recent surmise of events are a little off the track Netflix's usual manner of promenade, with a certain Hubs Life taking its searches by the storm.

Connor Hubbard, aged around thirty, was called the most boring man on the internet by The Guardian in April of 2024. It is this very most-boring-of-a-man who seems to have managed to strike a deal with the streaming giant and always-on-scout-for-an-original Netflix, or so it seems with his latest Instagram post featuring Netflix's glaring red logo equipped with several cryptic hashtags hinting at a documentary. Having dubbed himself as 'hubs life', Hubs short for Hubbard, has made himself a comfortable nook on Instagram where he chooses to showcase an entirely different genre of masculinity to the world, and now he seems to be extending his all the way to Netflix.
His content is centered around creating a record for his own distractions, of his life as a regular beneficiary of a white-collared job. He often films himself, waking up, washing up, going about his day at the office, making dinner at home, oftentimes very sweetly also decorating a plate of it for his wife, who is rarely shown on camera. As if performing for the camera was making it easier for him to go about his tasks and tribulations throughout the day. While he has definitely created a brand name and tag for himself, 'Hubs Life' and 'Normalizing the Norm, ' trademarked and all, his obscure little post that seemed like a teaser for a Netflix show filmed upright rather than the usual landscape, took the audience by quite the surprise.
With a yet-to-be confirmed documentary on Netflix, a Connor Hubbard name would surely be added on to the list of must-follow pioneers.
Filming oneself for everyone watching, Hubs Life How to
With his cryptic Instagram post saying a lot in a few words and confirming absolutely nothing, the influencer has let the information simmer for a while it seems. Earlier last week Connor Hubbard confirmed himself going off even his extremely well-paying, regular job. After which he now resorts to center his content around things he does in substitution, from trying to earn $1000 a day or crunching in twenty minutes work out between taking care of his kids. His Instagram post captioned as "filmed myself like no one was watching, now everyone is." has left his followers teeming with confusion and appraisal, waiting for the thirty-year-old to confirm this news.
