With technologies to accommodate the improving state of taste of the audience, the animators guild is catching up and even surpassing said taste at some point. If the 2019 animated flick Ne Zha is anything to go by, that is (of course it is; have you even seen it?). From gushingly fluid movements to the vibrant colors appropriating and changing with every atmosphere of every scene. With every character made as if set in stone, the now two-parter, both being consistently directed by Jiaozi, scratches every animation buffs brain to get their hands on experiencing this masterpiece. 

While it is said that beautiful things do not come easy, fortunately for Ne Zha 2, the option of being on Netflix remains.

While the second installation of the animated film has already been set as March 19, 2025, the audience is eager to get a hands-on experience with the movie viewing. Well, at least a makeshift one. This calls for home viewing, which in turn calls for "is it on Netflix?". Sadly, it is not. The pioneer-esque anime has not yet been released on the streaming platform. The two-hour, twenty-four-minute-long Ne Zha 2 is available only in theatres for now. 

The movie has been garnering much attention since its release, following the premise of a demon baby being born with a fat that he cannot defy, or so it seems, Ne Zha translates as "to exorcise or win over evil forces", taking all the nuances of the Chinese script into consideration. Ne Zha 2 has also been marked as the first 'non-Hollywood' film in history to surpass the $2 Billion mark, ranking seventh in the all-time global box office charts.

Ne Zha is only one of the plethora of spectacles that the fusion of manual skills and technological advancements builds to create markers in the timeline of the world. 

With Ne Zha reaching the more estimated mark of success, and with the audience anticipating its as soon as possible over the theater release; Netflix is set to boost its animated movie collection with some major title additions from exponentially risen studios, over the time of the next three years. With the platforms Pay-1 window set to bring theatrical releases like: Despicable Me 4, The Wild Robot, and DOG MAN in 2025, followed by The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2, The Bad Guys 2, and Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie as of 2026, and many more. These releases are set to have a surefire success for these movies with The Garfield Movie having a second life constructed for it via its re-release on the OTT platform.

Ne Zha 2 has solidified its place as a landmark in global animation, blending advanced technology with rich Chinese mythology, achieving extraordinary milestones, becoming the highest-grossing animated film and the top single-market earner globally, surpassing $1.9 billion.
