Since the Duffer Brothers suspended production to stand in solidarity with SAG-AFTRA, the progress of the show halted. Meanwhile, the enigmatic lead of the series and Jake Bongiovi’s relationship is going as strong as ever.

Now, it is being speculated that Jake Bongiovi may have auditioned for the Netflix series. Recently, a clip of what looks like an audition tape of Jake Bongiovi’s surfaced on X (formerly known as Twitter). In the caption, the user hinted that the video could be a snippet of a “Stranger Things 5 audition tape”. In it, Brown could also be heard in the back assisting her boyfriend in the process by reading out his counterpart’s lines. 

Recently, another theory regarding the upcoming season also went viral due to the Enola Holmes star. Although the user could simply be joking since the clip seemed to have been from an old video, the show’s fans were left perplexed by the suggestion. Especially since Bongiovi’s acting skills did not seem at par with the level of Stranger Things. So, netizens were bound to feel confused by it all. 

They flooded the comments section with their thoughts on this development. Well, it is safe to say that most of them were less than impressed.

Unlike when the American model swept Brown off on a trip to Japan, the Damsel actress’ fans were not nearly as impressed with him this time. One user even went as far as to ask the 21-year-old to let the Stranger Things star “be the actor” in their relationship!

Some users were left wondering if Bongiovi’s addition to the show was even possible. One user was curious to know more about the script the pair was enacting.

Others disagreed with the majority on his “acting” skills. One user felt that he had put in good “effort“.

Evidently, netizens do not favor Jake Bongiovi’s acting, let alone wanting him to join the cast of Stranger Things 5!
