Meghan Markle was a popular actress before she became a member of the Royal family. Fans waited with bated breaths to see how the entrance of a television actress would change things in the Royal family. More importantly, whether Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle would get along was something fans wondered about. Both the members of the Royal family did not display a close-knitted friendship if they had one. And going by Markle’s revelation in the Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary, they did not.

The confession was the final pull for Markle’s fans. Many who have been observing the Royal family have pointed out the drastic change in Kate Middleton’s wardrobe ever since Meghan Markle entered the picture. A fan went all out to find several pictures of the Princess of Wales wearing the same outfit that the Duchess had worn. Meghan Markle has a great sense of style, and we do not blame the Princess of Wales for copying it. And neither do fans. But according to fans, it isn’t just outfits that Middleton is copying from Markle, but actually her entire persona.

Recently a thread on Twitter where a fan did thorough research to find out most if not all the occasions that Kate Middleton straight up copied Meghan Markle. Many have pointed out that just because the Princess of Wales chooses to wear pants one day instead of her usual dresses, does not mean she is copying the Suits alum.

However, the countless times Middleton’s outfits have been an replica of the former actress did not play in her favor. While it was all fun till the matter of discussion were outfits, fans are now accusing of Middleton copying Meghan Markle’s persona.

The Royals held many informative Zoom calls during the lockdown, which meant both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle participated in them, too. Fans are accusing Middleton of copying Markle’s zoom background.

As bizarre as it sounds, they are cemented in their belief. The issue may be the changing of Zoom background, but fans are proposing that ever since Markle joined the family, Middleton is straying away from the “traditional” approach to a “casual” one. Now one of the many reasons this may not be true is the fact that Prince William and Kate Middleton are very much still a part of the Royal family.

Secondly, the fact that Markle hinted at the Princess of Wales being “formal” in her documentary is proof enough that she either has not changed her persona to a “casual” one or is still working on it.
